Tertiary Treatment
The purpose of tertiary treatment is to provide a final treatment stage to further improve the effluent quality before it is discharged to the receiving environment (sea, river, lake, ground, etc.) or the re-use for irrigation or other purposes. More than one tertiary treatment process may be used at any treatment plant. If disinfection is practiced, it is always the final process. It is also called “effluent polishing.”

4- ClearFox UV-Technology
Mercury-coated vapour lamps with different vapour pressures are sending ultraviolet rays in different lengths. The rays of 253.7 nm have an inactivating effect. The primary damage of the micro-organisms during ultraviolet irradiation is based on a photochemical modification of the nucleic acid and so cell division is prevented. Sanitation by using the ClearFox Hygienic module-module is a very effective, cost-saving and ecologically friendly solution
The module is designed for save operation. At the end of the service life of 8.000 hours and 3.000 switching cycles, the UV-dose of 400 J/m2 is certainly exceeded. The used electronic pumps are exactly adjusted to the respective size of the plant so that the allowed maximum flow rate is ensured.
Maintenance works can be carried out easily and time-saving within preset time intervals.
