Established in the year 1993 as Agent for WATERTECH in the Sultanate of Oman. We adopt the Reverse Osmosis Technology (RO).
Our experience with containerized and skid mounted sea water/marine reverse osmosis systems which include customized systems for limited spaces and Hazardous Zone specifications for the Oil and Gas Industry. Our desalination and water treatment systems are available in Australia and worldwide.
Water Systems
Advanced Watertek has pioneered many of the most cutting edge reverse osmosis technology advances including, thin-film composite membranes, ultraviolet disinfection systems and advanced micro-filtration, setting the benchmark for RO design. New membrane technologies e.g. nano-filtration, ultra-filtration for the production of drinking and industrial water are currently being incorporated into our systems.
Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Desalination
The major advantage of sea water desalination and water treatment is that it provides safer drinking water on locations without any access to other fresh water sources. e.g. on board ships, offshore installations, marine vessels, islands, industries and sea side communities.

Ultrafiltration Systems
The Ultra Filtration system, also referred to as the UF, is another variant of membrane based technology, used by Advanced Watertek. UF systems are capable of removing a high percentage of microbes from the feed water. The UF process has modest energy requirements and offers a simple, chemical free, user-friendly method of treating water.
UF is considered an advanced pretreatment method in case of open intake for sea water reverse osmosis plants where the conventional sand filtration may prove less effective. UF modules are also used to treat river water where feed water is prone to fluctuation in turbidity over seasons. We have successfully used this technology in our projects to produce drinking water from river water and other surface water bodies where the main challenge is not salt content, but other impurities which lead to microbial formation.
Brackish Water Solutions
Brackish water contains relatively high levels of dissolved salts and minerals. Depending on the location, it can range from 1,000 to 10,000ppm and high brackish is 10,000 to 15,000ppm. We offer solutions to all your brackish water problems.
Brackish water desalination gained wide acceptance during the mid-eighties when RO membrane manufacturers developed robust membranes that could withstand cleaning, biofouling and high operating pressure over many years.
